GHS Class of 88 Reunion Weekend October 3rd-5th...
Come and celebrate and remember the good ol' days! It has been 20 years since we have seen a lot of our friends from high school so please mark your calendars to come! We are trying to make the visit home as cost effective and kid friendly as possible. We are not collecting money up front but need head counts of those who plan on attending each event.
We also need help with locating lost classmates! Check out the spreadsheet below for names of classmates we need help locating. Any contact information needs to be emailed to Kelly as soon as possible or send this webpage link on to our lost friends so they can RSVP to Kelly.

Detailed Schedule of Events:
Friday:
- We have been invited by the Spirit Club to help decorate the hallways for Homecoming so we will given a designated place to work on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. It is basically a spirit sign from our class to the players and students so anyone with creative abilities please come and help!
- Homecoming Game- we will try to organize ourselves a bit and try to sit in the stands together during the game. If anyone would like to purchase a shirt to wear at the game, we are going to try to make those available for purchase online.
- Pizza Hut after the game- we have notified the manager that we will be heading over there after the game and they have also said we can put orders in prior to the game so that we don't have a huge wait for food. We will deal with preorders when it gets closer and when we have a better idea of who is interested in going to Pizza Hut after the game.
Saturday:
- Golf Tournament at Auburn Hills. Tee times TBA. The green fees for one person during the week is $28.00 weekends. A golf cart is $20.00, or $10.00 per person. The requirements for a tournament is 10% down and a month notice. The address is 443 S 135th St. W. Please RSVP if interested.
- Saturday from 10am-2pm we are having a kid friendly brunch at Kelly's parent's house (I am sure some of you remember Jim and Marsha). We will need a head count for this so we can have enough tables and chairs set up. Depending on numbers we will either do a potluck or have Marsha cook for us!
- Saturday night we will have an optional dinner at Airport Hilton from 7-8pm. And then we will have a short program from 8:30-9:30! The dinner is going to cost $24.95 plus tax and tip plus a few dollars to cover the cost of the room (about $5.00 per couple). We are utilizing the seafood buffet and have access to a cash bar just outside our meeting room. Please no kids. Babysitting can be arranged but we need to know ahead of time the numbers and ages of children to be taken care of that night. If you want to just come for the program, please come around 8pm you can get signed in, say hello to some friends and find your seat in time.
Sunday:
- We are just going to hang out at Lake Afton all day. We have Shelter #2 reserved for us so it will only cost $3.00 per car to enter and then a couple more bucks to help cover the cost of the reservation.
- Bring table settings, drinks, a side dish to share, and your own meat to grill.
- Other items you might consider bringing are chairs, frisbees, footballs, sunscreen, swim suits, towels, fishing poles (obtain fishing licenses online or at the front office upon arrival), cards, kites, etc.
- If anyone has a boat they would want to bring, and take kids on rides, that would be awesome! Please check the Lake Afton website for fees and rules. http://www.sedgwickcounty.org/lake_afton/boating.html
